Openers Quiet Company: Openers Wesley Jensen (with Christie Dupree): Here's the set. I also want to say that this was probably the best Eisley show I've ever seen. The seated, acoustic atmosphere was perfect - no big groups of people milling about, talking and ruining the sound. I also think these were the best openers I'd seen Eisley play with. Great stuff, all around. _________________ hello. |

I like that last picture. It looks like they are having a contest to see who can eat their microphones the fastest. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

I agree about the openers (I really wish Quiet Company could've opened the whole tour..). The only other band that's opened for them that I really love is Simon Dawes, but their music is so different from Eisley's that they seemed like a weird opener to me. I love that picture of Weston. |

And I'm pretty jealous - Austin always seems to be getting the best shows in TX. well, being the music capital, it's expected. and i couldn't be happier about that! maybe one day you'll be able to see one of those great shows! or more great shows will appear in your neck of the woods. |

Sweeeeet ... haha, Ali, I saw you over there sitting on top of that bench, and I was like "Yesss he'll have some good pictures." I was sitting pretty far back on the right, and there was a pole in my way. Also, my camera's batteries died (as well as the backups) almost as soon as I put them in. Stupid rechargeables are losing their steam, I guess. Anyway, I was bummed. I did get three pictures of Quiet Company (one with the melodica) before the camera died. I'll put 'em up eventually, if they're any good. But yeah, I had a fantastic time, LOVED Quiet Company (Wesley Jensen was okay), and definitely saw the best Eisley show I've been to thus far. I agree that the environment was amazing, with the seatage. Made the experience much more enjoyable, although I wish I could have been closer up. But alas, I couldn't get there early enough. _________________ Facebook & Twitter & Blog(ish)-type thing |

I got to meet Weston, and at the time I did, he didn't have a mustache. I'm amazed at how quickly his facial hair grows. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/goldengryphons |
