They should play Invasion. It's their best opportunity for future awesomeness. However, if they were playing just for me, instead of a national audience, then it'd be Combinations hands down. _________________

I voted for my fav from the album. But clearly they will be playing Invasion. Think about the first time you heard Invasion (maybe a year ago or so for many). I know I liked the song a whole lot more then. So hopefully it will go over big on Conan. |

Hmm....I think "Taking Control" would be a poor choice. It's not a bad song, but of all the songs on the album, it's the one that treads into "ear candy" territory. In other words, it's instantly accessible, but there isn't as much substance to it as there is to the other songs. To me, it sounds too much like a flash-in-the-pan radio hit. When they play live on Conan, they will definitely want to put forward a song that highlights their originality. "Invasion" is getting good reactions by people who don't normally even like bands like Eisley. So, I say go with "Invasion". "Many Funerals" is a good choice too. Basically, they need to show that they can rock at this point. |
