 Post subject: Grocery Parking Lot Eisley Conversion Wichita 8.21.07Posted: Tue Aug 21, 2007 6:25 am 
Well, I don't know if I would call it a conversion, but... as I was leaving the grocery store, carrying like 5 bags of semi-heavy food stuff, I see two grocery store worker guys kind of standing by my car and as I get closer, I hear, "Eisley? No way!" (I have Eisley's early Room Noises sticker on my bumper) They realize it's my car and this sparks even more excitement... I probably wasn't as "right on"/friendly as my normal chip ol self because it was HOT and I was carrying heavy bags... but nevertheless one of the guys told me he went to one of Eisley's shows in Arizona... said they were good... he was kind of staring dumbfounded/disbelieving at the Eisley sticker still, haha... I told them about the upcoming Lawrence, KS show in October... driving away, I got a giddy proud-parent feeling... it's kind of weird sharing something that feels so personal to you... I probably didn't seem all excited/thrilled/ecstatic when the guys were talking to me, but driving away I was doing my little "I love Eisley" dance. that pretty much made my day, guys.  _________________ the thrill of Hope... the weary world rejoices. |
