What do you do if you are stuck in this situation?
Nothing. Wait till I can find a tissue and wipe off excess runoff in the meantime

Snort it down the throat. It's an annoying sound, but it's effective

I don't blow my nose usually. I seem to be incapable of doing it.

uh, what a weird topic. i was sick recently, and i did the "snort it down your throat" thing a lot; it's the least messy.

agreed. although i often spit. i dont like tissues they make my nose raw after a while, and the ones with lotion leave my skin feeling greasy.

i find the 'farmers blow' particularly cringe worthy.

I prefer the term "snot rocket." And if privacy can be found, I much prefer it to internalizing. Ew.

Oh yeah, this has to be an extreme situation, too. Or I'll fight the runny nose. Also, snot rockets are only acceptable outside, for various reasons. ha.

I can't blow my nose either. It hurts my ears when I try.

I admit it ... blowing my nose is generally useless unless my head is filled with gunk from illness.

I am so not capable of blowing my nose in public (or even alone). I just can't...I guess it just disgusts me. The most I can do is use a tissue to gently wipe my nose.

i am, but it really doesn't bother me. i'm not eating anything booger-shaped.

i wipe my nose on my sleeve if it's runny, but if it's all stuffed then i snort it down.

i constantly have a runny nose now (I bet you didn't know that was a symptom of pregnancy!) so i pretty much carry tissue with me WHEREVER I go.
