There's a Sambuca and an expensive-looking sushi place right up the sidewalk from City Hall. When I was out there for a Brandi Carlile show last month my fiancé went to a McDonalds... Google says there are two about equidistant from the place. There's a map at http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=mc donald's&near=+405+12th+Avenue+South+Nashville,+TN+37203&ie=UTF8&z=16& om=1 Have fun! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I want to make sure the girl that licked Boyd's ear is not there waiting for him. _________________ Albert Camus wrote: Always go too far, because that's where you'll find the truth. |

I want to make sure the girl that licked Boyd's ear is not there waiting for him. Oh man! Weirdest concert story EVER. It's one of Kim's posts, I remember reading it on here somewhere. Basically what happened was Boyd was sitting up front at the show and Kim saw a girl go up to him and lean in like she was whispering something to him. She walked away and Boyd turned around with a puzzled look on his face. Kim later asked him what she said and he said "Nothing, she just licked my ear!" And guess who the girl turned out to be: Faith Hill! _________________

Does anyone know if there's anywhere to eat around City Hall? I've heard it's somewhat isolated or something. It's in an area called "the Gulch" there are a couple trendy restaurant/bar type places right next to City Hall. There's a McD's on the corner of 12th and Broadway. There's a lot of great places within a few miles of the venue. If you go down Broadway (away from downtown) you'll get onto 21st Ave and there is ALOT there and it's a really short drive. Theres Noshville, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, San Antonio Taco Co (HIGHLY recommended), Brewhouse, a sushi place, I could go on forever.... Anyways, have fun at the show! Unfortch I cannot attend even though I live in Nashville and really want to go, but I'll be in St. Louis for my sister's baby shower |

Once I was standing alone in downtown Seattle at about midnight after a concert, my friend was in the bathroom or phone booth or something, I can't remember, and this girl walks up to me and grabs my butt with both hands, gives it a good squeeze, then just walks away without saying a word. She had a weird smile the whole time, and I was like, "uhh, nice to meet you" as she walked away. |
