I was looking around the Rock for Darfur myspace and after a minute or so I saw this...

Props to the Duprees...and/or MuteMath.

I hope Stacy writes "DARFUR" in magic marker on the back of her hand. And maybe in the middle of a song Sherri will start shouting random words about human rights and Martin Luther King and coexisting!

Just kidding. I think that's awesome; props to Eisley for being involved.

Singing and crying the name aloud is great.
But awareness and understanding is better.
Very few people know what's really going on.

I think that's the point of these events. To get people aware of what's going on. Even if one person from every show goes out and learns more about it after the concert it's job well done.

BIG props to them or whoever for that. I just read about this via another band.

I don't know... the only thing people will really learn is "People are getting killed in Darfur and that's bad."

.00001% of them will be able to tell you which country Darfur is located is in and then find Sudan on a map.

That is totally awesome! I'm in a club called Project: Epiphany that was founded after a bunch of us watched Invisible Children. I'm pretty stoked about this 'cause they're going to be promoting Darfur at the Dallas show. Sweetness!

Exactly JBaker - that's what I mean.

It's like Live Earth - I appreciate being an environmentalist but to what extent can people correctly understand what acid rain, global warming and hole in the ozone mean?
