I'm sure i know Apple will win this poll but i've seen add in magazines, and lots of web buzz about the Zune.
it make me wonder if any one would prefer the Zune.
Now i tried the Zune Marketplace and it seems to like it doesn't have much content.
and i found the browser complicated for finding what i want.
they say they have podcast now but i couldn't find them.

The Zune definitely seems nicer than it used to, but the fact that I just purchased an iPod not long ago probably answers any questions. ha ha.

I do know at least one satisfied Zune user, though.

yeah the new zunes do look nice.

but the fact is that you are looking at one product that is in its second generation (zune)

versus a product that is in its 6th generation (ipod)

and the ipod is pretty darn awesome

I know nothing about Zune, but I have an iPod and it works pretty well for me. Plus iTunes, you know...

I got to pick between an iPod and Zune for christmas and I picked the new Zune 80. To be honest I think it looks a lot nicer.. plus you can get artwork and multiple lines of text engraved on the back for free which is a cool feature. Also I like how the new zunes have the zune pad which is a combination of a click wheel and touch pad.

I thought about getting an iTouch but if i get a new one I'll most Likely get
an iPod classic cause it has a bigger hard drive. They're working on the specs for what there calling the Zune II so I may wait to see what they come up with then decide.

i'd get a new gen zune if i didn't have a shitload of itunes accessories :/

I'm an Apple fan, but I like the widescreen format of the Zune. The iPod touch is widescreen, I know, but 8GB and 16GB is (vocabulary mishap)

The 80gb Zune II is 249.99 just like the 80gb iPod classic. It's the 30gb zune I that is being sold at a clearance price.

I just bought an iTouch and it has an awesome interface. It only has 16 gb of storage but I suppose putting in a hard drive would have made it larger and heavier. It would be nice to have 64gb but that much flash memory would be way too expensive. I only listen to a single playlist of 100 songs or so on any outing so I'm not concerned with having all my music with me. The best part of having an iTouch is coming up when apple released a development kit for third party software developers. All kinds of applications will start to show up.

The zune would be my last choice as I like the Creative Zen W just as much as the iPod but it is not an option for Mac users. Archos also has some good stuff.

iPod all the way. It's been around longer and I trust the brand more. I know nothing about Zune, plus - as somebody said - they're just as expensive as iPods. Why pay the same, or possibly slightly less on sale or something, for something I'm not entirely trusting of? Not to mention I love iTunes, so I wouldn't wanna give that up.

I have a 30gb video right now (named Chbosky). I've had it for like ... a year and a half or so. When it comes time to replace that, I'll probably get an 80 or 160gb ipod classic. I love all the space. I don't have that much music, but I have tons of video, and video takes up so much space. It'll be nice to have a place to put it all.

I don't care what improvements they've made to the Zune; it still looks like an ugly turd, while iPods have always been the sexiest of media players. *strokes 5G 80-gig lovingly*
