I work at TGI Fridays and they played Eisley today. Normally I don't think it's that big of a deal, but the song they have on rotation is A Sight to Behold which I thought was a bit strange. In my opinion it's one of the least "radio-friendly" songs on the album.

that is cool.
everytime i'm in there they play a good 10 songs over and over.
it's usually a bunch of really cheesy 70s music.

who usually chooses what gets played in restaurants?

really? cause that's not what they play in mine at all. it's a pretty wide variation of songs that's controlled by the corporate people. it's different mix type things for different times of day, like mid-day and happy hour etc. after working at cvs and a daycare, i don't mind the music at Fridays at all.

Au contraire! On 106.7 the most listened to young adult rock station here, it would be the only one from the album that WOULD fit.

I was thinking more Top 40-ish type of radio, the kind that you'd assume they'd play at a restaurant.

I thought this topic was going to be about Lily Allen's pregnancy.
TGI Fridays has pretty good food. I think I would freak out if I heard ASTB there!

You get tired of it when you work 35-40 hours a week, but I agree it has some pretty good food. I've only heard it play once, but then again it was only my second shift working since I've been home from school. They used to play Golly Sandra a lot.

Haha, they really do. Last time I was in there was over the Summer and it was near 12AM, so maybe that had something to do with the really bad music. Laughing

But that is awesome that they played Eisley, and that is one of my favorites from Combinations.

well, in that case, i heard "Marvelous Things" in Guitar Center a little while back, like a month or so ago… i didn't think it was really very important or special at all, but, i might be wrong…
