Rhodes pianos are making a comeback! The new Rhodes Mark 7, which is due out in June, is the first Rhodes to be produced since the Mark V in 1984! and let me just say this new Rhodes loooookks sexy as sexy can be! what's the point to this thread you ask? Well I deffinitely think that Stacy should get one! I would personally love to see her with a Rhodes on the next tour. Sure, vintage Rhodes such as Stacy's Mark 1 are indie fresh, but they are wayyy high maintenace, especially if you tour with them. And it may very well be the reason why she doesn't tour with it anymore. What do y'all think? wouldn't it be awesome to see Stacy playing the Rhodes again? I'm deffinitely gonna start saving up for one! Check it out!: http://www.rhodespiano.com/rhodes_am_series.htm [/url] _________________ |

Kinda like the Mark 4. http://www.fenderrhodes.com/models/mark4.php Back in the day they went straight from Mark 3 to Mark V. And though a Mark 4 was designed, and at least 1 was manufactured, it was never released or even announced to the public. _________________ |

Ok, as soon as I have money that I can simply spend, that will be mine. _________________ Thistledown |

You are paying for looks after all, they wouldn't make a keyboard shaped like a mac unless they could charge twice as much as it's worth. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! My goodness! from the research I did, I found that prices will range between 2-5k. the cheapest I imagine being the 61 key A Series, and the most expensive the 88 key AM Series. I may settle for a 73 key S series, but I REALLY want an 88. _________________ |

I'll have to shop around but most likely get a 61 key. _________________ www.timkimdesign.com www.myspace.com/timkimdesign change is happening. |

cool. i forget exactly what model i have, but i don't get to play it that much. unfortunately, when i turned it on nothing came out. in the past it had to warm up for a while. i left it on for a long time and it never came to. i wonder how hard it is to self repair? it would be a hassle to try to move the piano and cabinet anywhere - whereever that would be! edit i have a Mark 1 Suitcase 88 key this but with 88 keys _________________ I am Torgo.
