So who do you think should win best picture. If you have seen all of the movies it will be even better to here your opinion. I personally favor No Country for Old Men it was just brilliant in every way. Then Juno, There Will be blood, Atonement, and Michael Clayton.

I said There Will Be Blood...

No Country for Old Men won in the Sag awards and Atonement won at the Golden Globes, so they shouldn't be greedy.

Juno...I loved it, but I don't think it has a chance.

I think No Country for Old Men will win. It's been dominating at every award show.

I voted for No Country, I thought it was well directed, the camera work was amazing, and most movies that are based upon books are a big flop, but this one impressed me quite a bit. Juno is a close second even though it wont win due to just because the kind of movie it is.

The only one I've seen any part of was Atonement and the only one I want to see is There Will Be Blood. I just haven't given a crap about the big Oscar contenders this year.

If any of them are to win anything, There Will Be Blood oughta get best soundtrack, but that's not going to happen because of the Oscars' ridiculous rules.

i voted for “No Country For Old Men” — i really loved There Will Be Blood, and it's close, but… i don't know… i had to pick one, and No Country For Old Men just felt “right.” i haven't seen either Atonement or Juno, but Juno doesn't really appeal to me all that much, and Atonement looks to be the very definition of “Oscar bait.”

What is "oscar bait"?

I voted Atonement, but I think No Country For Old Men will end up winning, because like someone has already said, it's been dominating at the awards. Juno was not cool for me, so I hope it doesn't win, but I doubt it will. Nothing against the actors in it - just not my cup of tea.

I liked juno but I definitely don't think it was particularly groundbreaking or anything. Rolling Eyes

like, when it almost seems like they make the movie, or certain aspects of it, for the sole purpose of trying to win an Oscar.
