Baja Fresh is okay. Their chips are really good.

Qdoba is based out of Philly, I think. They had those everywhere before they got a Chipotle.

i'm not the hugest taco cabana fan ... it's okay, and i won't throw a fit if a friend or family member wants to eat there, but it's not on the top of my fast food tex-mex list.

umm... taco bell. i know it doesn't really count as tex-mex, with the exception of the word "taco" in its title. but it is my favorite.

No Taco Bueno where I'm from, but we've got Taco Bell and I LOVE it. I feel really stupid for eating it (the stuff's terrible for you), but not bad enough to live my life without crunchwrap supremes. Fake, processed Mexican food is AWESOME. Razz

Right down the road from Taco Bell is a Panera Bread which I love with all my heart (broccoli and cheddar soup in a bread bowl, PERIOD.). If you go the other way you can go to Giovanni's which has reeeeeally good salads. There are lots of good restaurants around here, but I hate going out to eat. I'd much rather pick something up and take it home.

it's pronounced "chasdew"

taco cabana has the best tortillas evarr

After a show or whatever on Greenville in Dallas I always goto taco cabana and get 3 tortillas, some butter, and some salsa. yum

I think every texmex place should be required to have a tortilla machine
