I love both. I voted for Marvy Things because it was truer to the band's vision.

Like everyone else, I love both. Smile

However, I prefer Marvelous Things overall. I think that the songs, the delivery, and the production are all better. "Memories" just about does it for me on its own, as it's very touching personally, for whatever reason, and the other 3 songs are great, too...

i voted for Laughing City cuz "Over the Mountains" is by far one of my favorite songs ever, and "I Wasn't Prepared" and "Laughing City" are in the top 5 list of my fav. Eisley songs

I also like the artwork on the Laughing City Cd sleeve too.

I cannot describe the euphoria I felt when I finally heard Over the Mountains live for the first time ...

I liked laughing city the most, probably just cause it's got more of Eisley. and alot of the songs on it are the ones that made me love them.
So i guess it's a kind of centamental answer. as far as production goes these are my favorite from the two in this order. Marvelous Things, I wasent prepard for this, tree tops, over the mountains we go, sea king.
the rest of the songs are on the same level of goodness for me.

Whoa....split so far. This is close.

I voted for MT, because I just love the way the vocals sound. So crisp and loud.

I vote for Laughing City just because my husband and I (who weren't married at the time) were at the very place they composed or put together the song "I wasn't prepared" and it's one of my favorites still.

Laughing City is the stronger EP overall, but Marvelous Things, the song, is their best recording to date. Why oh why no Aaron Sprinkle for the full length?
