I watched all of the Harry Potter movies last night and thought I would see which of them were favored by those that have seen them.

I'm not a fan of the movies in general, and I won't be seeing the sixth at all if certain rumors are true. As far as the ones already made, it's a hard choice between 3 and 4, but I went with Azkaban because of the cinematography.

azkaban was closest to the book that also managed to be a great film itself. cuaron captured the feeling of the book, which was a lot darker and really harry starting to grow up.

i wish cuaron had come back to do the last movie.

Order of the Phoenix, I supposed. I absolutely hated Prisoner of Azkaban, which was sad because it's my favorite book.

Azkaban was my favorite book. SO I liked the movie the best. Gary Oldman is amazing.

I like all of the movies, but my favourites are 1 and 5. I loved 3 when I saw it in theatres, but it's the one I least enjoy re-watching.

I think they've gotten progressively worse since the first one (which, though the acting was bad, was charming and close to the original plot). Especially since the good Dumbledore died. This one suuuuuuucks.

Yeah. I think the new guy is pretty terrible, unfortunately. Confused

Maybe people should beware of spoilers for the poor unfortunate people who haven't read all of the books yet and you just spoiled the books.

Dumbledore was played by two actors. The first died. He was good. The second, the current Dumbledore, sucks. That is what we were talking about. Razz
