really, she said that? or am I being bamboozled by my lack of SD knowledge?

She did.
We were talking about superheros and Sherri said Stacy was more of a Batman kind of girl and she then proceeded to say "Christian Bale is my baby!". Chauntelle she said she liked Spiderman. I think Sherri said Superman?

Smart girl, Batman is the ultimate superhero.

Meh, Batman is pretty cool, but he doesn't have any powers! It's all just fancy gadgets. He's kinds like Syndrome in The Incredibles. Razz

Exactly, he's a superhero because he wants to be, not because he's obligated to be. I'll never claim he's the most powerful compared to, say, Superman, but in terms of character Batman can't be beat. Besides, those gadgets are gnarly.

It has nothing to do with "being obligated", I see it as he is pretty much a normal human being, but he overcomes that and is able to be "super" without any fancy powers. I think that doing that is even better than having all the powers that superman has. He has to work twice as hard and he is just as cool, if not more so. That is just my opinion though. haha

okay, was that at a concert? I unfortunately had to miss this amazing tour.

anyway, that's awesome. I'm actually a bigger fan of batman, to me superman's a bit of a showoff, wheareas batman is an a really cool human who fights the crazy bad guys. I agree with OrangeGold&Green, batman is so cool.

Anyway, I think a nice assumption of the meaning of D.K. is totally the Dark Knight theory.

I don't want to quote all of that, but Batman and Superman are both totally lame. Neither one has a personality. Superman has too many powers and Batman just does everything Alfred tells him to. He's not resourceful; he's just rich.

Spiderman is where it's at, y'all.

That's what I'm sayin'! Superman and Spiderman and Wonder Woman and whoever else you want to throw in there all have these crazy powers and are all "I might as well save the world now." Batman does have to work twice as hard and is definitely way better for it.

lol you can't say Batman "works twice as hard" when all his enemies have no superpowers either. He's just doing what anyone with wealth and a tragic childhood ought to be doing. Nothing special!
