I saw this picture and it made me think that the Duprees seem really at home at Starbucks. How comfortable do you get at your local Starbucks?

I don't go there that often, and it's not that big, but usually I'd just get something and leave, or if I'm with friends, we'll hang out and talk for a while.

Way to be cool! Cool

I remember reading somewhere that the DuPrees act like they 'own' their Starbucks. Confused Laughing

It's a fake picture.

Theres kind of a 'homely' feel about some Starbucks when they have the big sofas and chairs to relax in. I only sit in there when I'm in London before a show or something to get out of the queue for a while (and take advantage of the toilets that are 1000x cleaner than Mcdonalds on Tottenham Court Rd). Chillaxing perhaps.

Starbucks is built for loitering. The one in Longview rates about a 6.5-7 on my arbitrary loiter scale, whilst the Tyler location frequented by the band scores about a 7.5 to 8. I would give it more, but there aren't enough chairs in there, if you ask me. ha ha.

+1. At my locally-owned coffeehouse of choice, I'm comfortable enough to nap on the couches.

We don't even have a Starbucks here, and I live in the capital. I don't complain about it though, I can live without a place I've never entered or seen. And we have enough other such places (like ONDA and so on). I feel relatively comfortable when I'm with other people, but if I'm alone I usually buy a hot chocolate or tea and leave. I don't drink coffee anyway Razz

I feel comfortable enough to read a book while my coffee lasts but I don't feel comfortable just lounging around.

My Starbucks is pretty small, so I can't exactly walk around without bumping into something. Especially when there are a lot of people around.
But I'm comfortable enough to linger around, and read a book or write some stuff.
