I need a couple more songs to fill a set for like say an open mic night or opening for one of my friends bands soon. I can't seem to shell out any originals as I just started learning songs a few weeks ago.

So anyways, which Eisley song do you think would be easy to do an acoustic cover of?

btw my music page is www.myspace.com/collinscity (theres a thom yorke cover on there..wooo)

I was thinking maybe "just like we do" ..?

Are there chords posted out there for this? I'm not too good at figuring songs out by listening yet : /

I checked the eisley tabs site and some others and one without chords showed up.

yes! that's one of the first songs I learned on the guitar, not that it sounded anywhere near as good as Stacy's version.

Not easiest to play but in my opinion definitely easiest to cover is just like we do. If you just get the picking style down it sounds exactly like the song haha its a song i play a lot, E fans can identify it very easily.

That sounds awesome, I knew that would probably be the one to do. So that makes 5 songs, now if I can just come up with an original I will be ready to play. Thanks much for the suggestions, I will definitely check out the others as well and see if I can play them.

I think "I Wasn't Prepared" would actually be pretty easy to screw up, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Well I just did "just like we do" and the strumming is off and my voice is out of key a lot, but its just a demo I did in a few minutes. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'm stoked to have another song down for the future. It's on www.myspace.com/collinscity

To be quite honest, I don't like your cover of Just Like We Do at all. No part of me does whatsoever. I still say you should try and look into Blackened Crown. Or maybe even now Golly Sandra or Ten Cent Blues.

The guitar sounds more like Golly Sandra than Just Like We Do, strangely enough!

Sounds better than my first Eisley cover.

I hope you keep this recording, so you can listen to it in a few years and see what you think.
