I've been on an onion bender lately, so I thought I find out what you guys like to do with them.

I'll eat onions, but I prefer any of my foods without them. So I voted not at all.

As long as they're Vidalia onions, I'm good.

I think an Onion is best presented in the form of a news network. Cool

Frankly, it depends on what you're putting it on. If I were eating it on a burger or in a salad, I'd eat it raw. If it were something like a hot roast beef sandwich or Philly cheesesteak, grilled or sauteed.

That being said, I'd never eat an onion just by itself. It's kind of a gross flavor when you have nothing to compliment it with.

Onions are awesome. I can't eat them when I see my girlfriend though. She doesn't appreciate onion breath.

Raw, red. They should never be cooked. Only scallions, which I also love.

This sounds crazy, but I got so excited about this onion thread. I just tried wild onions today on a walk in the woods around my school with my friends. They taste so amazing compared to other onions. I enjoy my onions sautéed, but I enjoy wild onions so much raw. I recommend going into the woods and picking one up, dusting the dirt off and trying it.

Yes! I love wild onions.

I don't like raw onions, (other than green).
They mess with my guts.
I voted for grilled, although I also like them sauteed.
I like them in french onion soup, or on a grilled chicken sandwich.

agreed completely, so I didn't vote cause how can u vote for one when it's 'all of the above'

except boiling, when do u boil an onion? (I'm already feeling like this is a dumb question and I'm going to do the 'ohh right' when someone says an obvious food/dish)
