Nominations for this year's mercury prize came out a few days ago... who do you think should win? My hat's in for Florence, the Machine, and her Lungs. I've only heard two records off that list, and Friendly Fires are one of those bands that only sound good when remixed (compare the Aeroplane remix of "Paris" to the original), so my vote goes to Bat For Lashes. _________________ Coprophiliacs make sh*tty lovers.
