Just found it. I was thinking literally seconds before I found it, "Gosh, I wish they would put up the next video already." I haven't watched it yet...I'm about to now.

OH MY FREAKING GOSH. So excited. That new Sherri song sounds awesome with the rhodes in it. It's all sounding quite amazing, I'm loving the softness and old style quality to Be Kind.

The song Chaiuntelle is tracking with Stacy on vocals at the beginning sounds so awesome.

GOD BOYD, I can't take these snippets of three. The part of Stacy tracking Be Kind both just vocals and then with full music made my heart tingle because it sounds so gobsmackingly wonderful. Album 3 feels like it will be a lot more personal than the others.

I completely agree. This one sounds like it will really be Eisley's album, and have the heart of their music smack dab in it.

As an homage to the late, and Great, Michael Jackson, this record will be Eisley's "Thriller" for sure Smile The snippets sound great. Rich and heartfelt. We're all shakin' in our boots with immense anticipation to drop wads of cash (or credit?) on the physical disc/LP. No more of this digital poopy Smile

Wow. Just checkin in before rushing off-
but very stoked at yesterdays updates!!!!

1) I sense our heroes are poised to render a masterpiece. The more snippets I hear, the more I think this is gonna be a classic... Dare I suggest that, from the 2.3 songs we've heard, it might even surpass RM? It sounds so *&^%#@ good!!!!! Now lets hope WB doesn't have it mixed down to elevator music before they release it. JUST SAY NO!

2) OK, Sire is still WB and still a major, and its not quite a 4AD, Matador or Factory(RIP) exactly, but they have a formidable heritage. Eisley's (real) sound will fit very nicely, and it has a lot more cache. I hope they find a lot of creative support they don't seem to have been getting to date, and perhaps stand a better chance of being better understood... or am I just naive. I'm so thrilled for them at any rate! Congratulations!

Based on very little information it seems to fit together- I don't know anything about Aronson, but he believes in Eisley- and (the real) Eisley sounds like Sire- so Aronson should be good for Sire and Sire should be good (or at least better) for Eisley (he says hopefully).
I think I remember a clip thats out their somewhere about recording room noises- and there was some controversy with a producer (I forget which song)- and Aronson (I think it was him) has stopped by and is telling the producer "it was perfect on their demo- make it sound like the demo"- or something to that effect... So ... I don't know... I hope this will be good.

...the group photo on the top of the journal post even looks very "sire", circa its heyday even!

Ashamed to admit, but its july 4th and a band fan site made my day!!!!
can't wait... And F09?

...and for what its worth, I don't think anyone who's been around here would accuse me of being habitually gushy!!!

Really hoping this finally gets them the recognition and appreciation they deserve (not to mention earning them a more comfortable living)!

I'm so very excited about the new album! Can't wait. And I'm usually the kind of person who can wait for such things. This is going to be a beautiful record, I am sure.
As for the label change - "Warner is Warner - no matter what brand: Reprise, WBR, Sire; it's all the same.... exCept for the fact that Sire has a President and his daughter's name is Eisley. Any questions?" - that pretty much is all the explanation I need. And if Eisley are left to do their own thing I trust the results will be wonderful.

Did the sherri song towards the end of the studio clip give anyone else the chills?
It sounded wonderful.
