First off, long time no see. It's been quite some time since I posted here, I think probably around the time of the Combinations release/tour. But I wanted to pop in and say hi, and show off my newest Eisley treasure. Smile

At the Minneapolis show on the recently completed tour, I had the great pleasure of meeting the band again, as well as Todd. After some chit-chat, I had the even greater pleasure of sneaking out with Katie, Todd, Chauntelle, and a few others, and finding a cafe to grab some food. Well, we talked and enjoyed good food, and then as Todd got up to call a cab to go back to their hotel, I insisted they not waste the money, and gave them a ride myself (my car was parked just outside the cafe).

So, I got to see Eisley play, got to meet and greet with them, then had dinner with Todd and Chauntelle, and drove them back to their hotel, all in one night! It was awesome.

ANYWAY, in the middle of all this, I got to talking with Todd about a guitar. Not just any guitar, but one that he built for Chauntelle that they were trying to sell. Well, we exchanged a few emails and phonecalls after that, and a month or so later, I received this in the mail. Very Happy

And Todd sent me these along with it...

Very HappyVery Happy

Niiiiice! Merry Christmas indeed!!

That's also pretty rad that you got a meal with them. I'd love that.

Beautifully. Smile

I don't think I could have found a better introduction into the world of electric guitars (I have previously only owned acoustic).

Awesome! Congrats on the new guitar.

I was the top bidder on Chauntelle's Weddington until someone outbid me with like 15 seconds left. I couldn't get a new bid in fast enough, so I lost the auction. I really thought I had it, so that was a bummer.

Anyway, that's a beautiful guitar, and you've got a great story to go with it. Enjoy! Smile
