Pretty great version of the song.
Nice work, you guys.

Hoping for some more harmonies, but I'll take what I can get.
You really should consult with the fans (via Laughing City) and compose a songlist for a 2010 Christmas Album. I want to hear "Rise Up Shepherd and Follow" personally.

I liked it. I love that it's so subdued. Most performances of it are so melodramatic. Also, I get to love it for completely different reasons than I love, say, Sufjan Stevens' version.

I hope that the texture of the song is a sign of things to come for the new album. Jamie?

Wonderful version, indeed in most interpretations the singer sounds so self-important and overly dramatic, but Stacy & Sherri breathe a humble, elegant reverence into it. I like the instrumentation a lot too, really turns it into an Eisley song.

I passed this along to a few friends who wouldn't normally listen to Eisley, and they all loved it. Everyone should do the same. Maybe it'll get the band a few more fans. Smile

Anyone else gonna feel a little weird listening to this in July? Very Happy

I love it. Especially the parts where Sherri starts that echoing.

^I always listen to Christmas songs in July. I always start wishing it's Christmas as early as June. Razz
And having this wonderful version of the song, I'll probably listen to it all year.

That song- for some strange reason- really changed the way I look at Chritmas.
