I wanted to go, but I pretty much couldn't make that drive. Neutral

I'm eyeing SXSW, though ... and maybe Colorado?

The Boulder show is the *only* reason i'm thinking "man, I should've gone to school in Denver." and SXSW is the only reason I'm thinking "man, I wish my spring break was a week earlier"

I hope they come to Portland this year Laughing

It was awesome. They played two? new songs (like not on Fire Kite EP) and Max came up for one of them.

I put a few pics up on facebook, but my camera lens was super dirty and nothing I could do would fix it Sad so my girlfriend has all the good ones. It was an excellent show.

They also played Treetops, which was freaking awesome because that was my 3rd Eisley show and it's the first time I heard it.
Also, they said that a track on the next album was going to be called, "Shapeless Wooden Fairy Brats" because someone called them that when they were starting out.

The Eisley twitter posted a picture of Stacy playing an electric guitar in practice and said something about them playing "Just Like We Do" in Baton Rouge. I replied with "Jealous! Stacy is playing it on an electric guitar?" Then I got a DM from Eisley (Boyd) saying "Yes Adam! It sounds perdy too. See ya later this year."

I took that as they will. Smile

more than likely, the new songs played were Smarter and Be Kind, which are about a year old.

It's just "Be Kind" and "Smarter" then. They're not really that new. They played those two songs at Baylor last year. I heard those before "Ambulance" and "The Valley", actually, because they played them a long while before the Fire Kite EP even released.

EDIT

Dang it, you beat me to it. It is both of them, I saw pics on facebook and Garron's on guitar in a few pics, and he plays the guitar part in "Be Kind" and "Smarter" always has Max in it. Unless I'm just assuming.

they deffinitely played Be Kind because I see in one of the pictures on Facebook Garron on acoustic guitar behind Stacy. there are also some pictures of Max up on stage with them so that was more than likely Smarter.

I hope someone got video of Just Like We Do on electric. that sounds interesting.
