I agree... I like their previous 2 albums but from what I've heard off of this new one, they sound totally different. I've heard a comparison to The Strokes, and I'd have to agree with that. Don't like it at all. _________________ thanks to the works of stephen colbert, the population of elephants has tripled in the past 10 years. |

I don't have a problem with the strokes necessarily, but if I'm listening to a band that sounds like the strokes then it should be the strokes, not phantom planet. That makes me kinda sad... when good bands go bad. _________________ thanks to the works of stephen colbert, the population of elephants has tripled in the past 10 years. |

I think it's cause Jason left... which is sad... blah mtvU, I believe it's gonna be a channel (?) or at least a new program focussing on College students and it's gonna be mostly musical programing... so that's cool... _________________ This one gang kept wanting me to join, 'cause I'm pretty good with a bowstaff. xanga... because you said so maybe.. pictures? I thought it funny when I heard about mtvU earlier today. I just imagined some big meeting where the executives are like "so we need to start another channel that actually plays music" _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |
