I don't. The finished recordings were good enough for Eisley to release, and they're good enough for the rest of us, too (or they would be if we weren't spoiled by leaked demos years ago). Maybe they'll reserve the LP3 demos for a rarities collection many years from now, but I'm not holding my breath.

neither do I. I don't understand the desire to listen to demos. I just think it's silly to put them on an ep - I don't understand the logic.

In my head the rawest demo you could get is a solo acoustic version by the songwriter(s), and we're getting pretty close to those with the acoustic versions. So, in a way you're wish may get fulfilled if they keep making those available.

if you ever have the oppurtunity to listen to the demos pink floyd did for the wall. you will see how different they were to the finished product.

almost a completely different story altogether. and quite bad.

for me, i just think it'd be interesting to see how the songs started out and how they've developed to what they are

Golly, Poster

i will only listen to demos if a band releases them, or an artist asks me to. it's only fair. i liken it to asking to see some random woman nude...

I'm not with y'all. I think of Brand New's 'Fight Off Your Demons' demos and how they were completely superior to their 'final product'--which had to be altered so the label would release it, if I remember correctly. Demo 8 (Yeah), which was basically a bathroom recording, was raw and powerful. Sowing Season was just alright.

And, of course, I can't fail to mention Nebraska, which was the demos for the 'electric' album they recorded, but decided to scrap.

I definitely wouldn't mind hearing these demos, and I especially would not mind hearing Combinations'.

But I've always had a thing for lo-fi.

How very Joisy of you.

And yes, FOYD was indeed great. Cleanser is still my favorite song they've written.
