Post subject: Great performances at Bledfest--everyone loved Eisley
Posted: Sun May 29, 2011 1:12 pm I was glad to see that everyone loved Eisley despite most of the other bands being heavy. We've seen Eisley many times over the years and we really enjoyed seeing them in this environment--a relatively quiet room, free of cigarette smoke, booze, and general rowdiness. We took some video and recorded the room and hope to have it uploaded to YouTube to share later. Here are a couple screen grabs from the performance of 'Watch It Die' in case anyone is interested. |

wilsmith wrote: I think their set wasn't too far removed from what you're talking about most shows because it's Valley heavy. If I remember correctly, Acoustic was only used on Kind, but I could be wrong about that at the KC show, which used the same set as all the others sans the Encore. Stacy played acoustic on I Wish, too. JLWD was played on electric. I remember because it was distorted and she had to turn off the distortion. _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. Kelly approves of peeing in the shower. The world is R. Hmm... maybe I'm one of the few people who like Eisley and hardcore? Unfortunately I didn't get to see a lot of the bands I wanted to at Bledfest (mainly The Chariot) and we got there just as Eisley was going on. It was a great show though, and the crowd seemed to be into it. I actually kind of liked being able to show up just as they went on, no sitting through a bunch of opening acts I loved hearing all the new songs, I can't believe how much Chauntelle sang! I knew she was all over the new album, but it was cool seeing her singing so much. She sounded great. I remember years ago seeing them and she'd just use her mic to say "thank you". It's inspiring to see her grow. And I think I met Little Firefly? (This is Jeff, Lindsay's boyfriend.) |
