I've been trying hard to get my sugar intake entirely from fruit during my pregnancy... but it hasn't worked. Wink

Dark chocolate is usually my preferred indulgence. But having been round and sweaty all summer, I got really into some fake ice cream bars from the health food store, which are delicious and have nine grams of sugar per bar.

There was also an embarrassing couple of days earlier this year when I consumed an entire pack of mint creme Newman O's in the span of two days. (Doubly embarrassing because those stupid cookies cost $5.) Oh, gestation.

Those are some good cookies, and at least healthier than the Oreo version. Plus the cookies are crisper and the creme less oily/fluffy, in a good way. You should get a dollar off if you buy a carton of eggs.

I do love sweets, but usually in small quantities. One bite of a candy bar is enough for me, so those King Size bars always baffled me (so American...). There are two exceptions to that rule, though: ice cream and homemade chocolate chip cookies. If I didn't tell my body to stop eating those two things I'd have some problems. Oh and, best ice cream flavor: chocolate chip mint. Can I get a high five?

Golly, Poster

I wanna go bake some cookies and eat them all now. There's nothing like a simple chocolate chip cookie.
