Shipping and handling on merchnow was just shy of $5 US so prices are the same if you qualify for supersaver or have amazon prime. They will probably drop it to closer to $7 near release time, evening the 2 vendors out. Digital is more profitable so pricing will always push that option when available from a vendor. I went with merchnow since it"s the band's offiial merch store. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. I was going to order through Amazon, too, to avoid the doubling of price via shipping through EV, but I noticed this as well. They may not be dealing with Amazon on the physical release since this is a more limited thing than The Valley where I was able to go to Best Buy and get the full length for $7.99. WB was still apart of The Valley release I think, so maybe they don't have as many distribution avenues as WB did? Boyd posted 2 lists of indie stores on FB in response to me when I asked if they would be available in East Tx. In the past all of their physical releases were available here other than Fire Kite, which was tour only. I can compare this to MST3K and Shout Factory. Shout sells single movie releases exclusively through their site, so Amazon will have them listed but the price is like what you would pay Shout plus shipping. _________________ I am Torgo. it's like a penalty/ tax for not just buying them all and using their music downloader app. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |
