Hello Friends, This is my first posting/responsive greeting, et cetera on this little City. I will make it quick. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TYLER,TX?? I am looking for someone who either lives there or knows it like the back of their hand currently??? I work for a shoe company out LA and I have been hearing little things about some boutiques there and I just don't know anything about it. HELP PLEASE. Anyone!! we are here: www.tomsshoes.com Very cool shoes. For every pair that is bought we give a pair of shoes to kids who don't have shoes in other countries. Anyways......thanks boys and girls. There are lots of "boutiques". Every rich doctor's wife has one! jk Anyway, I did not check out your link yet, but if you could be more specific of what you are looking for, I could probably help. If you are just wanting to advertise your site/cause on the Eisley board, (I'm not saying you are), you can put that in our "Shameless" section, I suppose. Otherwise, I could probably help you find the places you are looking for. thanks, kd |

Hey KD, Thanks for the head's up. No, I got on this Forum, b/c I am a huge Eisley fan and a guy who works for my dad, Chad Armstrong, had mentioned it many moons ago to my father, and I was with my pops yesterday here in Austin, and he mentioned Chad's name and it just triggered something. I knew that these wonderful boys and girls were working on a new record and so I came to the website. The only reason I mentioned the shoes, is just to find someone OUTSIDE of this forum who can give me some insight into Tyler, TX. I worked in Tyler for a couple of summers, but I wasn't around the city so much as working at a camp. Soooo..........needless to say my knowledge of it, is very limited. It's pretty limited to some chain restaurants there and a Starbucks (yes....I know ....yuck.....I didn't know of your fine establishment whilst I was there). anyways......babbling done. Just looking for someone outside this forum who can help. I would actually prefer to email outside of this forum too, so as not to "clog up the web-waves" so to speak. Thanks for your Reply. I appreciate it. cheers, _________________ Brad Otts Husband, Father, Peacemaker |

Brad, I'll go to "pm" or email for more answers, and would be glad to try and help you find what you are looking for. Everyday, we have to come on and wipe out lots of junk profiles, but I did check out the shoe site...it looks pretty cool. When you refer to "fine establishment", I'm guessing you mean BrewTones Coffee Galaxy? It was a venue that we ran for bands. Doesn't really happen much anymore. Feel free to "pm" me for any questions about Tyler. Thanks, kd |

I don't understand why sharing your own music is considered shameless, but there are threads for sharing photography, art, poetry etc. We are all artists and some of us just enjoy sharing our work with other people for free. Most of us will never make any money doing what we love anyway. I think shameless topics should involve some sort of expected return that the thread creator hopes to receive. "Buy my album", "vote for me in this contest", "publish my poetry", "sign up at my forum", etc. I find it unfair as a musician that my creative property should be quarantined to a rarely read section of the Laughing City where a photographer/artist/poet has free range over the forum. Food for thought. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |
