It would be pretty cool for them to do a concept album a la Coheed & Cambria or a concept album for a musical like Forgive Durden or David Byrne did. Tell a story from start to finish on a CD. Talking about LP5 is so premature though IMO. I'm still just getting into Currents and don't need to think about anything else from them at the moment. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

Since Deep Space had 4 Sherri tracks to 1 Stacy song here's my idea of Deep Space the LP: Whatever the next 4 Stacy songs are/ were, would have made the album, and then 1 more Sherri song, and then s Chauntelle song. I haven't bothered to think about who wrote what on Currents, but I'm sure everyone else has that figured out. I would bet that Blue Fish or The Night Comes would be the Sherri track to make it, although Save My Soul fits the bill when she said during Deep Space recording that they were inspired by their earlier influences like Sunny Day Real Estate and Starflyer 59 cause that one is so Starflyer 59. Then as far as I could tell, the Stacy Songs are: Drink the Water Real World Lost Enemies Shelter I think 192, with a full big band and orchestral treatment would have been a great fit on Currents B-Side right after Lost Enemies. So the album version of Deep Space would have been better titled Space Waves: Lights Out Blue Fish Laugh It Off Drink the Water Deep Space Millstone Real World Lost Enemies 192 Days Shelter One Last Song _________________ yup, that's my name. I would be very interested in adding some male vocals that aren't Max to a song or two on their next project, EP or LP. Perhaps they could feature Paul Meany (MuteMath) or Ryan O'Neal (Sleeping At Last) next time around. I've always enjoyed the girls' collaborations with other bands. |

The Man In The Moon wrote: i wonder what deep space would've been like if it'd ended up being an album instead of an ep. Exactly. I love Deep Space so much. It would be an amazing space opera if it followed the story of the couple "lost out in space with love." It would be great to see what Sherri could do if she let her sci-fi knowledge run wild...maybe it could be a Perma project? _________________ This next song is about a dragon.<3 Back in the day Eisley commented on my myspace with the following: 'Somebody is sure you love "the cat's pajama's". thanks for everything no matter what that means ' @fragileaswelie |
