I was going to go to the Manchester orchestra show in may, but then the Chicago show for this happened.

and eisley trumps MO.

So I will be seeing eisley for the 6th time!

I am very exciting... for the youtube videos!! Will can Eisley (and Merriment too!) come to the South America some day...? Oh, and the download page looks broken. Can't download the tour sampler here. Sad

The Tracklisting for the tour sampler, particularly the Eisley tracks is PERFECT. If they apply that sensibility to the Setlist, I'm going to be hard pressed to NOT travel for the show. It's also funny that there is a song for each Dupree in each band respectively.

I have a feeling that St. Louis might get thrown in on a summer tour route that takes them through the Upper Midwest, or the southeast and gulf coast and back around. They are skipping MI, MN, WI, IA, Memphis TN and even OK this go around, so I can see those spots being lumped into a tour route...

I would seriously hope that Merriment gets a nice long set this go around now that they have 2 Eps and an LP's worth of material not counting Christie's older stuff.

Let's just say I'm excited. Especially since they are coming to my town. The place is small though; they came to the same venue last headlining tour and it was overcrowded. (Literally, people were in the doorway to the stairs...the venue was literally "upstairs" in an attic type area!)

Eitherway, I'm excited to hear more "Currents" songs live!

Let's hope I can get a job and save some money before the Houston date.

start a kickstarter just to see the show.
the goal would be like what, $50.00 ?

incentives could be like pics of you standing at the concert.

or you could do something in that simpsons game you like to play.

Two words: temp agency.

Another few words: start writing music reviews for a uni newspaper or local rag/webiste that can get you comped tickets to a show. Worked for me. Or...try and get hired on as a stage hand or venue staff/security for the event.

You write welll, and shoe/ concert reviews should be a cakewalk for you. Email a managing editor or section editors ome writing samples and make yourslef available and maybe something sill come of it. Getting paid isn't as likely, but getting comped a ticket or album is a nice perk.

C'mon LC. we can send Alex to the show.
I looked up tickets.
They are $18.00

I got you for $5.00

so we only need $13.00 more.

Let's get him there. and then he can thank us by taking lots of pics.

Not sure if you're being entirely serious or not, but you don't have to raise money for me to see a band that I've already seen, like, 5 or 6 times, haha. Besides, I hate going to shows alone, so I'd need at least two tickets anyway. Wink

I'm in the process of interviewing for a technical writing job right now. Still waiting to hear back from the company either yay or nay. Hopefully yay.

Holy cow to the acoustic tracks! Feel like I am hearing Mr. Moon for the first time. Also, why does the Dallas date always have to be at the end of the tour? Patience patience.

My girlfriend and I are making another road trip out of this tour. Definitely gonna see four shows. Chapel Hill NC, DC, Philly, and NYC. If you're at any of these shows, come say hello.
