I just mention those thing (sophistication and complexity) because when they mentioned being more experimental the results were that kind of stuff. I get that you specifically want them to do something closer to euro club/ techno/ new wavey. Not in a bad way. I do listen to some stuff like that. I remember them complaining about label people wanting then to have "more beats" or to have a noted hip hop producer work on one of their tracks and have a radio friendly single. I think if they still have an issue with that kind of thing they will be more likely to go the "arty" route than the "retro" one. _________________ yup, that's my name.
