I am of course talking about pessimism V optimism

I used to be negative about everything just because of a few random incidents that happened when i was younger but now i try and see the good, positive sides of things because life's too short...so i used to be a pessimist but now i'm happy to say i'm optimistic Cool

well see...you have to pre determine where the cup was prior to its current state of being...because if the cup was full and you spilled it or drank some...it is now half empty..whereas if you have an empty glass and fill it half way up...it is obviosly half full. Rolling Eyes ..thats my take on it that way i can be both pessimistic and optimistic

I'm a realist. It's a glass with something in it, you have the ability to add to it (possitive) or take away from it (negative).

Currently all I have to metaphorify with is my nice foam cup, and I just drank all the water in it, so...

pessimist! not only that, but i have a problem with tearing off pieces of the cup and chewing on them.

being a huge pessimist is fun , as everything that goes well seems to run in your favor.

I think there's a difference because I'm realistic as well,I just hope for the best instead of thinking everything is always doom & gloom.

I'm an eternal optimist. I hate it when people say I'm negative. I wonder if it's a curse. Confused

yes.

even if it really is doom and gloom, i like to pretend that its not.
like if giant brownies were to come and ruin the world... and then after awhile they'd start to mold.
people might be thinking "oh no! the world! its going to be in ruins and smell like rotten food! the horror!"

I think it would be cool to see a giant brownie.
