yay...we are home! thank you all for posting on our silly board so much. nebraska was more fun than i could of thought and mike mogis was so so great. he was wonderful to work with and we all got along so well. he understood our music so much and had really good ideas. he even wrote string parts for "laughing city" and "sunfeet" and had people come in and play them..it should so nice. we're all so excited:) the e.p. will be out in stores in march and will have "laughing city", "mr.pine", "sunfeet", "treetops" and either "seaking" or "over the mountains"...we're not sure which one yet, we recorded both, but are only going to use 5 so that it is an e.p. and not an l.p. since it's our first real cd. anyways, it was really fun and REALLY cold. it snowed and we froze our butts off. a little recording here, a little butt freeze "offage" there. it was great. i hope to see some of you tonite at our show...i can't wait to play:) see you later. love you all. sherri http://www.xanga.com/turbosherri _________________ "Strange I'm skinny when I'm standing but I'm Buddha when I sit" -Say Anything My dumb photos for fun. http://flickr.com/photos/photostoshare1/ A bit of the art... http://www.flickr.com/photos/sherrisink/ Older art... http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/slitgizzard/ArtWork/ |

Wow... Good songs for the e.p. I am gald sun feet will be on it. I think everyone is glad you are back and those of us who are going are looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the band at trees tonight. hi sherri. Im home sick right now with a sinus infection (its probbly the worst way to be sick my head feels like it weighs 100 pounds) sorry I couldint make it to trees but I think jim went Im not quite shure. Oh and about nebraska isint it amazing I love it up there except I went in the suumer and shot of like 200 dollars worth of fire works its not illegal up there. oh well I hope the recording went well see you sooner or later. |

wow EP in March? That's awesome.. that means real pressed CD's along with proffesionally printed artwork doesn't it? hmm that's sweet... so, would I be wrong to assume that the EP's will be sold nation wide? (you know, so I, along with a bunch of my friends can buy it over here in California) hmm you may not know the answer to that though huh? aww, man. i like over the mountains. why can you not have 6 songs on it? remember, one of the bestest of the bestest ep's ever has 7 songs on it.............Airbag/ How Am I Driving?.....heck, even the My Iron Lung EP has 8 songs...........is it more of a time issue?......i'm guessing your songs are 4 - 5 minutes average.....so 24 - 30 minutes.....i know WEezer considers this an LP, but you're not even half by Billy Corgan or Sigur Ros standards(of course, i always think they make their albums a little on the long side) _________________ I am Torgo. Dude you live in gilmer I used to live out there in the backwoods thats pretty cool in fact my moms uncle hes the fire cheif out in longveiw and like all my family lives out there are you in high school or older. |

I say "Beat it" is there best song. Oh wait no they play that other song... whats it called not "Bloody Sunday" not "It's my life" hmmm what was that song!!! I personaly think Pretender is their best song.
