So...Brand New recently got GuitarGeeked. Is there any interest for Eisley? I dunno, I think it'd be cool. Maybe I'm just a nerd. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

ok so two hours later after i read this post.........i must be some kind of guitar geek or something. highlights for me... i see some set ups are live but some must be studio, like robert smith of the cure. no patches, only pedals. somehow i doubt this is his live rig... which brings another point, i thought it funny...some pages quoted "the accuracy of this setup cannot be guaranteed". funny deftones (and many others) only use pre amps with power amps and speaker cabs, no amp heads in the rig. catherinewheel was cool, an ABY switch to use all effects, none, or both. ACDC was great...check it out. angus young fer sure does not need a guitar tech. good to see the old pro co rat dist pedal again. some bands were very surprising to see, a lot of indie bands. loveliescrushing was cool...a very my bloody valentine slowed down sounding band. the set up for muse was way cool, roland synth rig, switch box with 2 ins 2 outs, one goes to the board, one through fx. very cool. i think pearl jam had like 23 guitars between the 3 of them. slowdive!! swervedriver!! psychedelic furs!! WOW!! very weird...i was listening to low then saw them on this site, got caught up looking at photos. great show. makes me miss my fender vibroverb, also stevie ray vaughn uses them. sorry so big, like i said i guess i must be a guitar geek. yes, eisley would be cool to see also. ty john _________________ life=everything=beauty=inspiration |

I know how how you feel. None of those are studio setups because...there really is no setup in the studio for a lot of bands. They'll mix guitars, amps, effects, whatever to get the sound they're looking for. It's the time for experimentation. Then there are those that only need one amp, etc. Their studio rig is a lot like their live one. Of course, it's hard to generalize here. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog ..
