Hey Weston, how's the sushi in LA? (Note to self---figure out where that came from) So, it has come to my attention that apparently you don't get much attention as far as threads go. Poopoo to that I say; Weston my man, you are an awesome drummer. I'd like to say something more, um, topical or whatever in regards to how you play, but I don't play drums (or any instrument for that matter) so I doan noe nothin about that. You rule though, work that kit... I've been meaning to ask you, have you heard the Turn on the Bright Lights cd by Interpol? 'Cause if so I was wondering what you think about the first track. I haven't really figured out why, but I really like the drummer's part of the intro. C'est tres cool. Okay, that's about all I got for now. Sorry you had to go home before everyone else. ~!Matt PS-Not being a member of the band, I have all the time in the world to answer PMs, should ya feel like messaging someone _________________ For gooey nuggets of aimless rambling: http://www.myspace.com/malfaiteur I wrote your name in red chalk on the sidewalk in front of my house. |

missing the lanky goon somethin' fierce. it's his weirdness that creates such a void. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I've seen several threads on the girls, but this is the first on one of the guys that I've seen. So, for what it's worth, I do think your drums complement the songs nicely. And if nothing else, you do a good job of making tall and lanky look cool. I myself have the same condition (I'm 6'3" [or is it 6"3'?], and weight 155), yet somehow I just look like a goofy stick. Maybe you should branch out and form your own band in order to gain more glory? Yes, you could call them The Wes-tones...or maybe you should just stick with the great band you're already in. Yes, I think that's best. ~Poops McGee |
