Well,

I only learned of MossEisley/Neverland today, via a posting on the 'Q' (a British music magazine, as some of you may know) messageboard. I must admit that I was skeptical - When I think of bands largely made up of relatively young siblings, I think of some of the musical disasters that've occured over the years. However, the person who made the post on the Q boards thankfully pointed out that this band didn't offer the type of fare that many would've suspected.

Now having downloaded some songs I have to say that I'm impressed. Clearly, having never heard the band I didn't have too much in the way of expectations, but what I've heard is undoubtedly beyond what I could've reasonably expected. If that makes sense...which I suspect it doesn't. (But oh well, I'm sure someone will get the gist of what I mean).

Musically evocative and intriguing, the songs I've downloaded - particularly 'Laughing City' - strike me as some of the best new material I've had the good fortune of stumbling across over the last year or so. Though it's older, I also hope that the opportunity to hear more of 'Dream for Me' comes up at some point as the material contained in the snippit of that is excellent IMO.

So, all that I can say now is that if MossEisly/Neverland continue to progress and build upon the quality they've already in possession of, a *lot* of magical music could be let loose over the band's lifespan.

Finally. An (well, more or less) unknown band who's future endeavours I can get excited about. (Zwan don't count as far as being unknown goes, for obvious reasons Smile). I'll definitely be telling friends to listen to some songs, too.

Good luck for the future & the Coldplay shows.

hello, uhh I read that you wanted to hear the full version of "Dream for me" so I put the .mp3 up on my website for a bit, so you can download it. here's the link:

http://home.attbi.com/~aliendude2/fun/dream.htm

i've got the full version of "Blackened Crown" as well, however I cannot host both files at the same time due to my space limitations, so let me know when you've downloaded Dream for me, and tell me if you want to download Blackened Crown as well, and i'd be happy to oblige Smile..

hmm anyway yes that's it I suppose.. goodbye.

BP--Hey whats up. England is getting some super awesome shows the next couple of months. My good friend is moving out there in a couple of weeks...should be a lot of fun.

I'm glad you like Moss just from the stuff off the site. They are an amazing band and continue to get better. When the new E.P. comes out, you should try to get a hold of it.

The new Zwan disc is amazing. It is so light-hearted, I love it~!

Thanks for that. I've downloaded it now and yes, I'd like to download 'Blackened Crown too if it's not too much trouble for you to put it up.

With regards to the shows - tell me about it! I'm only going to one in the near future, but when that 'one' is Zwan's first UK show, I know I'm in for a treat. I'm incredibly hyped up for it, exactly two weeks to go. Smile

As for the E.P I'll definitely try to get my hands on it when its release comes around.

Finally - Yes, the Zwan album is fantastic. I love it, possibly more than any SP album aside from Adore. Time will tell in that respect though.

Ah, some one elseo who really likes adore. It's my favorite sp album, and seeing your name inspired my to listen to it again. I have only heard the one zwan song they played on some late show, but I liked it, so i will have to check them out.

Yeah, Adore is a beautiful album and it's a shame that it was kinda ridiculed by a lot of people for not delivering 'rock'. The Zwan album is really good....I mean, it blew me away. 'Honestly' is the single you'll have heard and I like it a lot, but it's still one of the lesser tracks from 'Mary Star of the Sea'.

Yeah - Though I *loved* the Pumpkins' music, I'm still taken aback by just how good this is. I keep reiterating that to people, probably more than I should. Wink As for the Zwan stickers, were they the black ones? I ended up being sent two packages of 60 or so by Reprise for some reason, despite only asking for one set, so I've got a big surplus of Zwan stickers now. Surprised

Good to see that Moss's music has made it 'across the pond'.

England is an absolutely wonderful country, and though I'm proud to be an American I would be proud to call the UK home should I ever get the opportunity to live/work there.

I did have the chance to live in London for about six months during a work-study program back in 1999. After living near UL, in Bloomsbury, and being able to walk (or take the Tube) all over town, it was VERY difficult to come back to Texas.

At the moment, I live in a village called Par, which down in the South West of England. At the bottom of the country, basically. I've spoken to Americans in the past who've heard of the Eden Project which is only a couple of miles away, but no one seems to know anything else about the area. Smile

I spent much of my life living within an hour of London though I'm 5 hours or so away now. Your post gives the impression that you've spent time in London before. Were you there for long?

I spent my entire mid-teens planning my escape from this country, but since then I've realised that it's pretty decent afterall. I've wondered if it seems tiny to many of the people who come here from the US, given that there're states that are bigger than this entire country. I guess travel is generally a lot easier here, as you implied.
