T I C K E T S...0 N...S A L E...N O W...f o r MAY 21st SHOW IN TYLER, TX. • •••••• PRE-SELL TICKETS ON LINE NOW http://WWW.eisleymerch.com/eisleymerch ON LINE SALES GO OFF LINE TONIGHT. MAY 19TH AT MIDNIGHT. http://www.brewtones.com This should prove to be a great, old fashion, local town, all ages show... Tyler's own Eisley, at BrewTones - the venue they played their very first show at in Spring of '98 as The TowHeads (same line up, sans Jon) and Pilotdrift, a band getting tons of buzz over the last few months...from Texarkana; I think this is like, their 8th show or something crazy. They opened for Midlake a few weekends ago and we saw them... a very cool band. And last but not least is a local, local band that's had some recent success entering a radio contest locally - Lucas hollow. Friends from Van, Texas. rock. They'll warm the stage. We can only fit 450 in the upstairs Vineyard-converted-to-rock-venue coffee joint...so, if you're concerned about grabbing a secure spot, buy the ticket on our Eisleymerch.com site (link below). The doors open at 8pm so if you're a walk up, you should get there earlier to get in line. The last time we did this, we sold out two shows back to back. This time we're only planning one. Of course, we promoted that show in many ways. This one is lower keyer. Hope to see you there. --------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry. Had to commandere this post because it has the title I need to continue to grow into a slothy mutant. Here is the small version followed by the link to the flyer. It's thrown down...no time for a big identity piece. Come one, come one...but not too many. We have room for 400 people. The line will serve up the first before the last... Opener starts at 8:30pm. Eisley around 10:00pm. Possibly earlier. Still working it out. boyd For full size flyer, download the following: http://www.eisley.com/eisleypilotdriftflyer.jpg ---------------------------------------- I heard a rumor that there might be an Eisley/Pilotdrift show here in Tyler pretty soon...any truth to this amazing revelation??? Because I've been saying it should happen since I first saw Pilotdrift and I'm totally excited! _________________ Elizabeth: You two could never make out. You'd start a fire! Me: Why? I'm throwing down a really quick flyer to promote the show. I don't think we'll do tickets on line or any of the hoopla that lead to the two packed shows last time. I will post an official thread or commandeer this one once we get our stuff together. This'll just be a small town show, ok? No big hype or large scale promotion. I'm only mentioning it on the forum because I'm not about to send out an eblast. People either hear about it on the forum (which, no local's even frequent..ha haah) or word of mouth. Temp. info: May 21st... Friday night. BrewTones. Lucas Hollow (locals) and Pilot Drift open. (see Kimbrtones post further down) _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. tis true. On Friday night May 21st, we will do a show at the place where EISLEY got started. I know we have done this before, but, this really may be the last chance for them to do something intimate like this. Especially before the album is released. And, part of the proceed's will go for a worthy cause. The place is called BREWTONES COFFEE GALAXY, and it's the venue that our family ran, (along with many other's help) every Friday night for 3 years. Basically, we convert our home church into a venue. It's really cool though. Boyd will be updating the Brewtones site with information soon. The show will be with another local Tyler band that has just recently won up to the next round in a band radio contest. Their name is Lukas Hollow. Also, we wanted to bring Pilotdrift back to Tyler, so the info goes like this: FRIDAY NIGHT, MAY 21st. BREWTONES COFFEE GALAXY presents Lukas Hollow (opening) Pilot Drift EISLEY $8.00 Door fee Doors open at 8:00. First band on at 8:30 Smoke free, alcohol free venue. 400 capacity. http://www.brewtones.com http://www.lukashollow.com/ http://www.pilotdrift.com/ This will be an opportunity to hear EISLEY'S new material that has not been released yet, and some, that may not make it to the album. I may try to set up pre sell tickets from their merch site, but I will let you all know if that can work, soon. |

Do y'all think stuff would still be going on at midnight? If there is, there might be a small chance I could make it after midnight. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

The 21st is going to be one crazy night! I have 2 other shows to be at...but honestly when 2 of my favorite bands are playing together at my favorite venue, I think my friends will forgive me for skipping their show...or I hope so at least. I'll try to fit in 2 shows but I gotta see Pilotdrift again...and I haven't seen Eisley live since the last time they played Brewtones and I'm itchin' like poison ivy to hear the new stuff. COUNT ME IN! _________________ Elizabeth: You two could never make out. You'd start a fire! Me: Why? Because we're so hott that we'd just combust into spontaneous flames of hottness? So...it's real. Posted a small flyer and link for poster at the top of this thread. I don't expect a big turn out. We're not promoting in Dallas or thru our list of 6000+ email. Only forum people know of this... We'll be selling copies of the new rough mixes on 11 songs. I'm a liar. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Boyd, don't tease us like that... Just sell the songs that you know won't make the full length... P. _________________ "Enjoy Every Sandwich" - Warren Zevon "What's Life Without Music?" - The Mermaid Purse www.myspace.com/ptah |
