I wrote a song for Eisley a while ago and thought that other fans might want to hear it. The song is about my wish of being friends with the Eisley kids (well young s I suppose you'd call them). Cause I wish the band didn't have to live all the way in Texas and I wish both the Deprees' and Wilsons' lived next door. So I could hang out with them and we could all play tag in the park and have potluck dinners and stuff like that (good clean fun fun fun). Well if anyone in the band is reading this and thinks "whoa, this kid is a major freak." I asure you, I am not a creepy person...hahaha... well I don't think I am at least. But I wrote this song to tell the you (the band) that there are a lot of fans like me that think that you guys/gals are not only really cool musicians but really cool people as well... and wish we could hang out with you guys some day. Well if you want to hear the song you can go to: www.purevolume.com and then search for my band "Boris Smile" hope you like it folks, and Eisley you guys are so cool, thanks again for talking to me at the Troubador show. your fan (and maybe one day friend), Wesley _________________ Thank you for the great music Eiesley... this may sounds corny but... some day I hope I can be friends with you guys. Until then keep writing great music. |

Wesley.... We've played it often - on the way home from California... (you must have given someone in the band) enjoying and laughing every time. (not, like...at you or at your song...but at the funniness of your song) We've let friends hear it... It's great. It's heartwarming... I'm hearing harmonies on the chorus... you know, when you get signed and it's a radio hit single. Thanks for the good song/good vibe. Everybody feels the love. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Boyd you MUST add this song to the music playlist played before the band takes the stage. The whole anxious crowd could sing along. Imagine hearing hundreds of fan singing in unison about making a sandwich with Sherri, etc. It could become an eisley fan concert bonding ritual. |

Dude, that song is awesome! Rhyming Dupree with jelly. My friend, you are lyrical greatness. Seriously, I just listened to that song 4 times in a row. It's fun/cool to hear you voice what pretty much everyone that reads this board has thought about. A few days ago I dreamed I was hanging out with them, but when I woke up I could barely remember what happened. I'm pretty sure it didn't involve eating potluck though. Thanks for the smile. ~Poops |
