Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2003 7:38 pm I know there's a bunch of you that probably won't out and buy it...and, we had some friend emailing the house from other countries complaining that they couldn't find it, so...I just thought I'd toss it up here. Thanks. boyd http://eisleymerch.com/boyd/press/RollingStonecoversm.jpg http://eisleymerch.com/boyd/press/RollingStonepagesm.jpg http://eisleymerch.com/boyd/press/RollingStoneSXSWsm.jpg or wait for the images to download below:

Thanks for putting those up. I had planned to go hunting for Rolling Stone this weekend. I like how the bands' cities of origin are: Seattle, Seattle, London, and Tyler, TX. By the way, what's the population of Tyler? Just curious. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

In that black photo they made Stacy look like she's 22 or something. _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=lovemorethanever http://www.myspace.com/singinbuddy "Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was burried along with her name, Nobody came." |

Yay! I just got the Rolling Stone today! The funny thing is, I think my head is in the picture. I was over in the paparazzi section for the concert. I actually remember the photographer who took the photograph as well. He was standing on a speaker or something and kept talking to the female photographers in front of me. hmmm...interesting... Anywho, way to go Eisliens! You girls (and guys!) rock my socks! Time to go sign up for summer classes and listen to Starsailor. Rock on! Angela (P.S. I met you guys right before the show when Daniel introduced us....just in case you remember little ole me _________________ |

if anyone deserves to be in RS, it's Pat. He's always doing cool stuff - talking to people about Eisely - always shooting photos...he was at coldplay shooting them with the band....he was at Stubbs shooting. (nice shot of the gurlz with lead singer of subergrass...don't know his name) Anyway, ...some of you are as dumb as me; well...my wife would disagree... _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. . supergrass? Gaz coombes. what did you think of that band? i love them, really good british rock, not really massive over here to be honest and quite suprisingly imo. they put on a great live show, well they did when i saw them and their albums are fantastic. what did the band think of them? also if that was the SXSW, The coral were playing with them too, yeah. what were they like? i have their album and they are supposed to be the next big thing over here, brilliant album i might add but not seen them live , yet. |

yah....we're regretting we didn't get to stay for their show. There was a rumor that eisley might hook up with them on a tour, but...not sure. We did get to hear Ed Harcourt (uk), who opened...really cool music; he, a pianno and a trumpet player. Also, heard as we were loading out The Coral from the uk...(right?) Polyphonic Spree played right after ....they were...epic, rock anthemish..... An awesome show. I know those guys tour the UK and are doing well there....way better in the UK actually. What do Juan and Sinead think eisley's chance of developing a UK market will be? just curious...since, perhaps at the moment, you guys are the first Brittish fans. woah...that's cool. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Eisleys chances in the uk? no chance at all no seriously not really sure, i'd say they are totally marketable though, 3 girls fronting a band cant be bad, the band, their music excellent top notch from the songs i have heard an i wouldnt say there is anything exactly like it over here, which i would add is the problem over here, too much of the same thing massive indie/experminetal/rock/guitar based scence over here, i'd say eisley probably fit somewhere in there?, but then again what do i know, i have only heard about 4 songs so yeah think its totally possible but since i speak for myself only, then i guess its a case of wait n see. i'm sure you'll find out post V festival shows and i'm sure you'll love it over hear the v fests prob one of the best over here, quite commercial though but i guess all fests are. right i'm off to catch up on some uni work adios steven |
