ok so this would actually be more useful for whoever is concerned (band even, possibly?), since everyone LOVES almost or all of the songs, and trying to figure out which songs are least loved by asking which ones are most loved won't really give the most accurate results... so let's do this the other way around, the right way.

boyd suggested that all 15 songs be put up, but i think the limit of poll options is 10, so i'm removing those that have probably been heard the least. if you have heard one of the other songs and would like to vote for it, then just mention it on the thread.

edit: oh yeah by the way please don't vote for a song you haven't heard (because you love the others so much), as that sort of defeats the point of the thread.

My vote goes to "Marvelous Things"... Unless they're doing something incredible and new with it, I'd just as soon replace it with a new song, or a very very old one.

you vote for the ONE that you would cut from the new album if given the choice... of course probably more than one of these won't make the album, but if we all vote for the single song that we would least care if it didn't make the lp, then maybe that would give eisley a little indication - call it a cherry on top of the cake of their decision making process.

It'd be awesome if the band actually used these responses in making their decision. Gotta love a band that listens to the fans.

yeah it is hard.. the feeling i get is that the ones already released on the EP's are gonna get the most votes, since we already have some version of those. it is almost certain, however, that eisley will include these on the record since they are very good and HAVEN'T been heard by the rest of the world yet.

i would suggest AGAINST voting for one of the songs already on an EP if THAT is your reason. i voted for marvy things, but it's cause i honestly like it least from the one's up for consideration and always have. although i still liked it enough that it got me to buy the marvy things EP Very Happy (it was the first eisley song i ever heard and the one that reeled me in)

it would have actually been interesting to NOT include marvy things, memories, or i wasn't prepared on this list, but sheesh a third poll?! at that point no one will vote. everyone will be tired of polls LOL

the thing with marvelous things though is the video. I think a lot of people would see the cd and think "oh yeah i remember seeing their video a while back, i liked that song i wonder if its on this cd...". but i guess the marvelous things ep would be right there on the shelf too. i dunno

I voted for memories, even though it is one of my very favorites, since its on the marvy things ep but doesn't have a video like marvelous things.

it's hard because we haven't even heard some of those songs (or i haven't)

the only thing i can really say is that we already have marvy things or i wasn't prepared on an eisley cd... i would want golly sandra or lost at sea on the new album 1) because they're gonna be awesome once they're finished boyd says and 2)because we don't have them on an eisley cd and i hate burnt cd's

i really can't vote on this. sorry Confused

AhhhAAHHhhhh!! I can't pull the lever. This is too hard. bad idea boyd.
But, I agree with Ideal. Don't pull the lever on a ep-released song. You're
sentencing the world to never hear them. eps's go away.

Of course, you don't know:

Trolly Wood
Brightly Wound
My Lovely
One Day I Slowly Floated Away

These are also great songs in the line up.

this is too hard without being able to hear the newly done old tracks or the new songs............but won't we most likely hear the "left overs" on a post LP EP?..........(the Wood EP)........which you can pad out with a little known oldie Lullaby......and then the ever popular concert smashing my favorite Eisley song, Mr Pine.
