Just heard it for the first time.. Honestly the best song I have heard in a long time. Very creative and also has that radio friendly rhythm. I am goin to send the link to all my friends because that is honestly the best song! WOW I cannot get enough! |

I shouldn't do this to the poor eisleymerch.com server...but: http://eisleymerch.com/boyd/MyLovelybd.mov If you have slow modem and can't wait, here's a crappy version: http://eisleymerch.com/boyd/MyLovelybdmed.mov It's just a video..."the making of"...some of it is raw, song learning and scratch track building. Some of it has the un-mixed build up added. It's just some drivel...another indie-vid from the studio in Tyler. Disclaimer: Forget the mix. This song will get mixed in the same environment along with all the other new songs. Chauntelle isn't happy with many of the guitar tones, etc. Tweakage will occur. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. As always, beautiful job with the camera-work. Those videos make me so happy. _________________ - stevie |

hm... i've listened to the song 4 times in a row now... it's definitely quite different than other eisley songs (of course there are several songs that don't sound like any other eisley songs) i can't decide whether this song is great or bad. it's riding the fence between a cool tune and too girl-poppy?? i can't stop listening to it though, but then again it's eisley duh! that doesn't say much. what do yall think>? p.s. now i see where boyd was coming from with that comment that it had an early beatlesesque sound to it... i think it can lean in that direction and be really cool without being queer. but it's a fine line. _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |
