These questions are open to Eisley, Boyd, Kim, and everyone on the forum.

Do you think Eisley songs will ever be in a soundtrack for a feature film? If so, what type of movies could you see them in? And what films in the past could you have seen them in?

I personally could see an Eisley song in any Cameron Crowe film except Singles.

That would be so cool.

Of course, I'm always thrilled when I hear my favorite songs in soundtracks... That bit in Reality Bites where it uses "All I Want Is You" was my favorite part of the film. But I also understand the views of some artists (most notably Thom Yorke) who say that when you use the song like that, you're selling people's memories of that song, the way it affected them, the way they feel when they hear it, the images they see in their mind--you replace all of that with a film or a commercial and it's cheap, and it deadens the effect of the song itself.

So I could go both ways on this issue... But I still think it would be way cool.

i tried making a cheap stop motion video once to "cowboy dan" by modest mouse. but it sucked. maybe if i try something to eisley the awesomeness of eisley will rub off on the crappyness of my play-doh and 20 dollar ebay digital camera.

i used to do stop motion with clay... i made this one really freaky video of this tree that ate a snake and then spit it back up as a little creature that crawled away... gosh that was fun to do...

I forgot to mention that I as well would love to put an Eisley song into a movie that I would like to make someday. I'm an aspiring screenwriter so we will see if it ever happens. The song would be "I Wasn't Prepared".

I have always thought there songs would work well with Tim Burtons style of movie, so one of his movies.

Or "Land Before Time 36".

i've had a strong sense (from the beginning) that the band's music would be a shoe-in for film sound tracks... we'll see i guess, huh. [/quote]

Seems a lot of people on here are working on movies. I wonder which of us will be the first to finish. Smile

I wouldn't mind seeing one of their songs in a movie.

I like completely original soundtracks for movies.
