what is everyone's favorite show? i think mine is probably the one way back when... 2001 i think... at the Door in Ft. Worth where you guys opened for 2 no name bands local bands. oh yeah, it was right after sept. 11th. there was a total of like... jeez... 10 or 15 people there. hardly anyone. was i the only one there to see you? but you had those cinnamon drops on the table and weston and i threw them at each other, and then the old people hair band on stage. that show ruled. i think you debuted head against the sky that night. the candles on the stage... weston diving under the merch table to avoid my viciously accurate candy throwin skills (you won in the end, though...) oh, and pretty much any mosslake show. _________________ rest in my arms sleep in my bed theres a design to what i did and said piccysssssss |

My favorite is still the first time I saw them at The Door when they opened for The Elms. It was right after they were on the cover of Origin. That was the only time that I've seen a line to get into the place and Chauntelle said over the mic "Yea...we know that you all are here to see The Elms, but that's okay." at the vineyard when it was them, radiant, holland and the connotations. last november sometime i think. Just curious, boyd, sherri, or any other dupree that might see this- what is your favorite concert or memory that you guys have done/had? |

Well, i only saw them for the first time back in February, but, i've seen them 5 times total now, and i've really enjoyed all of them. But, if i have to choose one, it would be the show at Revelation Room, i think it was Feb 22. Very Cool! Looking forward to many more shows! |

Wow..letdowntourist. You have been a fan for a while. I was at that show too at The Door in Ft.Worth. The guys from Spin 490 (Flyingmachine) were there. Eisley hung out & ate pizza with them, got home so late and ended up thinking the trip was a financial failure. Maybe so, but I am so glad they came! I wanted to like give them a million dollars, but all I had was a twenty then I think. I sent it to them. Sherri sent me like three cds and said I had grossly overpaid. ha haha. sherri. Long gone are the days of nobody showing up for their concerts. That was a great show... you know, pound for pound, shows at the Door have always rocked. That's mainly because they have a great sound system and because Joel really understands their music and knows how to mix them... First favorite: The Door. November 15th. Coldplay's manager - Dave Holmes of Nettwerk flew in to see the band of dorky siblings....Troy Wallace from Warner Bros. was also there. Must have been a pretty important night... Second favorite: Houston Verison Theatre. (Coldplay) because nobody knew who "mosseisley" was...except for maybe a few friends. I have it on video...a very enthusiastic Houston crowd could have easily continued milling around, yawning and mumbling. When I say that the good ol' days are gone forever, I'm just saying that the past is in the past. Nothing about the band, just a saying I use whenever I remember the "good ol' days". No matter how good they were, they are still gone (but not forgotten). I know I'm biased, but I also liked the show at The Garage. My favorite show?...lets see...i would have to say the first time i ever saw them, in april of 2002. I was supposed to go see a local ska band that night called six foot midget, but the show got cancelled, so i decided that i would head to the door with a few flying machine guys just to go, not even knowing there was a band called moss eisley, or that they were playing. When i got there i was in for somthing great. From the first note to the last "thank you" i was amazed! i didnt have any money that night, so i got gabe from flying machine to buy me a copy of ep1. i listened to it over and over until i got ep 2. i simply fell in love with moss eisley, and it was all due to chance. My favorite was the one during of July of last year. It was at mars music there were only like 5 people there (including Daniel T. Hall) the sound was pretty good and it made me happy after my bad news that day (my brother had gotten in a bad car accident). It may not have been an important show but it was fun. |

i'd have to say my favourite moss show was the first one i ever went to... 31 january 2001 southcliff baptist church new years eve party i took two friends: marion and rachel. we were the only people there who didn't go to the church. and we yelled our heads off for the band. it was so memorable. i'll never forget it. it's my favourite new years eve to date. another fun one was brewtones this summer with midlake and ester drang. and the dan's show in february. bah. they're all pretty nifty.  _________________ xoxo, kris |

I've kind of lost track of The Door shows, but they did a pretty tight (as if they all aren't) show last year at the Dallas location...I think it was as show with Radiant...I can't recall. But my two favorite are: #1...with Coldplay in Dallas, 1.31.03. I was so excited when the people next to us asked if we knew anything about the opening band("you won't be disappointed")...and of course, it was cool to hear them in such a big venue for a change. #2...the first time I saw them (Towhead days) in Tyler when they had moved Brewtones into some Baptist (?) church out on the south side of Tyler. It was 1998...maybe early 1999...if my memory serves me correctly. I could not believe these little kids were playing that kind of music...and playing it well. I remember asking them what kind of stuff they listened to and they said "Starflyer 59", among others. I was so impressed that kids this young were into bands like Starflyer 59. There was hope, obviously. It's just such a treasured memory in light of their continued success. |

Favorite shows? the mosslakedrang show was alot of fun. so was the liquid lounge show attended with kris and dan, and midlake played too. they are all food...uh, meant to say good. _________________ are you a member of the slaves to their members? |
