Having posted about featuring Eisley on my radio show on Burn FM (the student radio station of The University Of Birmingham, England) back in Feb/March I thought I'd update you all on events!

The new Burn FM broadcast will begin next month I believe and I'll be changing the show around a little bit. It'll still be a one hour show per week but I'm moving the emphasis from new/up-and-coming hardcore and punk acts to a more diverse selection of bands, with an emphasis on quality of music rather than genre!

Once again, I'll be featuring Eisley as much as possible. They'll be one of four "double-header" bands who get two songs featured back-to-back on the show and they'll pop up through the whole series. Haven't decided which songs yet. I'll hopefully get Boyd, Kim and the band involved somehow too. Eisley will be featured along side Modest Mouse, Brand New, The Streets, Say Anything, The Stills, The Killers, Stellastarr*, Glassjaw, Azure Ray, The Thermals, The Get Up Kids and Ryan Adams as well as many more!

I'll have to send Boyd and Kim an sampler of the show etc, as I promised I would ages ago! Anyways, this is the plot, any suggestions are welcome. Thought you guys would like to be kept up-to-date with what I'm doing.

Cheers & I hope you're all well,

Nick

No worries, its my pleasure. Eisley are easily my favourite band (joint top with Brand New and The Killers)! I've just put together a package for you with a CD of one my shows from the last series and some info on the show, hopefully you'll have it by the end of the week! Wink

Erm, I think we have an online thing at www.burnfm.com. We have a webcam and I'm pretty sure you can listen online. However, the website won't be up and running til term starts at the beginning of October. If it is possible to listen online, I'll make sure I let you know. Though, be warned, I am truly a terrible DJ.... the music is the shows only redeeming feature!!
