I wont be back from Europe until after the whole tour with coldplay is over, so I was wondering what Eisley will be up to afterwards. I just want to know when i can get to see you guys play again. _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |

Great question. Not sure yet. Will work on finding an answer. I'm pretty sure it'll just be more shows/ more touring. Don't worry...when you get back from Europe, they'll still be a band... Then again...I was thinking - it's possible they'll just come back from that tour and buy some farm land and retire as "we got to open up for Coldplay" farmers. And they can put up Coldplay posters in the barn...and, after about 10 years, they'll charge $2.00 for people to come see the shrine - complete with their old dusty gear and the clothes they wore on the tour....and it'll be all like covered with straw and that barn yard smell will make it so authentic. I'm not sure if this will happen. It's just an idea. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I'll pay $2.00 to be able to wrestle (wrastle) the mule. That'd be neat. _________________ The day it single with half is done. Today I questioned all never. I'd pay the $2.00 ONLY if the band also performed live inside the barn....except it would be like a hillbilly band now. Chauntelle would play the banjo, Jonathan would play bass by blowing into one of those big whiskey jugs....Weston would slap his fingers up and down a washboard, Stacy could play one of those little things you stick in your mouth and pluck with your finger that goes "boing boing boing", and Sherri....well, she'd sing and play fiddle. Boyd would wear overalls and agreat big hat, and he could be the Barn Tour Guide as well as the "caller" for the square dancing. And Kim.....well...Kim probably would have left this bunch by then!!!!! love you guys! |

Sherri, i am happy you made use of the little book! I really think your Mom would have long abandoned any "hillbilly eisley"....but.....if she WAS still around, then i think you are correct....she would have a booth set up, and sell apple pies and apple cider and autographed photos of Weston playing his washboard while riding on the back of a small burro! You'd all have a yeeeee-hawwwww good time! And i'd still love you guys |

I didn't mean to imply Kim would have left the family for good...just wouldn't be hanging around the yeehaw music barn. See, Kim would be gone because she'd be out on the road as the manager of Eisley Version 2.0, which would be Collin 19, on blazing rock guitar, Kayla 13, on vocals and a Hammond B-3 organ with big Leslie speaker cabinet, (Weston STILL has a hernia! ), and Christie 22, who would be like a female Jim Morrison, reading avante garde poetry set to music while running around the stage with her crazy antics! It would be even more popular than Eisley v 1.0. |

All humor aside....wait. no way I can put humor aside. With all humor entact, I did do something responsible - I emailed their agent and said, "the people have spoken....they want to know what's after this tour" (aside from the 2 buzzoven shows). (I like to make it sound real important...the people have spoken...that's real big you know) So, I'll wait for his reply. Hey, the band wants to know too. We know almost as much as you guys. Meanwhile, I'm trying to locate a place with a barn. I can get Kim to cook apple pies because....well, I just order her around. Whatever I say do, she jumps as high as a large mountain goat. So, to Poopface...I already ordered her to get in the kitchen. Of course, she ordered me to shut my blow hole and then hit me real hard with one of those meat tenderizer hammers. Silly Kim... _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Did the meat tenderizer (a glorified, textured hammer) tenderize your meathead or leave it calloused and uncaring? If it made it tender I might get my wife to try it on me. Maybe that's what Elvis was singing about all those years ago (Love me Tender). Maybe everyone who gets married should get one of those meat tenderizer hammers? Hmmm.... _________________ So there I go, Without my no. Only a yes And passive aggressiveness. |
