I would like to apologize to Eisley and everyone for tonight's show in NY. Embarassed I personally thought you guys were amazing and everything was great. Thank you. However, i would like to apologize for the crowd. The crowd was quite older than what i think is the average aged Eisley fan. I saw about 5 other people really into the music and even singing some lyrics. I tried to make up for everyone by singing as loud as i could, but i just don't think that could really help. Feel free to come back to NY anytime you want. We really love you here.

Again, I apologize.

So you're saying the crowd sucked that night?
I'm suprised.. I thought there'd be hundreds of people to see Eisley.

I did notice that the Snow Patrol crowd did seem pretty old (well, like, mid to late 20s) at the Providence and Boston shows... maybe because the shows were 18+? But the Boston show was literally right on the BU (huge college) campus, I thought I'd see tons of college kids. But nope, mostly mid-to-late-20s. Weird. But in Prov. and Boston the crowd was definitely into Eisley.

Funny in Boston, too - The crowd was kind of sparse when Eisley came on stage, but then when the music started I saw people sort of float in because of the music and plant themselves close to the stage. I can just imagine people hanging out outside and being like "Whoa, where's that wonderful music coming from?" and floating there on the notes like old cartoon character mice when they whiffed tasty cheese.

Actually....the band was quite pleased with the NY show tonight.
I talked with Weston, and he said that Brand New, Dashboard, the guy that shot Eisley's video, all of Jesse Lacey's family, and other fans that they had met before, were at this show.
I'm sure Boyd will give the blow by blow, but, I don't think the band felt disappointed about the NY show.

well, when eisley headlines their own tour, it's guarenteed that more than 5 or 6 people will be singing at the top of their lungs. haha.

hey! mid-late 20s is not that old. Wink

I was there and Eisley sounded great.
Chauntelle did make one comment from stage about
"getting out of our hair" so maybe they didn't feel the crowd.
But I know that I've never really a "loud" fan, but I'm a loyal one.
So maybe it went lots better than you're thinking.

Allie

I need to mention that to them. I hate it when they do that. It's really coming from a heart of humility, but it comes off like they think the people don't like them.

Glad that you all did.

It was definitely a Snow Patrol crowd...but Eisley totally rocked, and I definitely noticed a lot of the Snow Patrollers getting into Eisley's dulcet tones as the show rocked on...

And Chauntelle was really great after the show...I had a really cool conversation with her, she was just really chill...and of course Boyd was as approachable as anyone could ever hope.

Anyway, next time you guys come to NY, you'll be headlining!
