Me me me me me! And robbie, I think... and Ben, unless his plans have changed. But I'll be there with three of my friends, and I'll be wearing my slate grey Eisley logo t-shirt, and carrying a crapload of stuff that I want to get autographed. And hopefully if I show up early enough, I'll help the band load out. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

And do you know what I'd wear to a Radiohead concert? A Radiohead shirt, that's what! And if I were going to a U2 concert, I'd buy a shirt beforehand and wear that! So there! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Great show. My friends and I arrived about four hours before the doors were supposed to open. I'd PMed Boyd about possibly helping the band load out that afternoon, but they weren't there yet when we arrived. So my friends and I wandered about Lawrence's awesome downtown and spent way too much money on CDs and a DVD. Then we wandered back to the car (parked right in front of the venue) and saw Eisley standing about and unloading. I got to meet Sherri, Chauntelle, Stacy, and Boyd, and we stood around and talked with Chauntelle before wandering around downtown again and wandering back to the show. And it was awesome. I was right in front of Sherri's mic and stage right of Stacy. I got a few pics, but I couldn't see Chauntelle or Weston so they're kind of limited. I'll post them when I'm back on my own computer. I also got my poster signed. Except I had to buy a new poster, 'cause I left the one I brought with me in the car, and the venue wouldn't let you leave and come back. Some sort of Lawrence law. Who else went, and where were y'all? _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I was standing left of the stage on one of the platforms, it was fairly close. The show was amazing of course. I didn't get to meet the band. They had only come out for a second when Snow Patrol started, then I left in the middle of Snow Patrol and missed the band. It was still an amazing show and I was very happy that Lawrence was so warm to them. I left during Snow Patrol to get a Jimmy John's sandwich.... wow, good sandwich. Good show. Good night. |
