joined! And, I singlehandedly lowered the credibility of our group. Having listened to Bonnie McKee's album 35+ times, basically the whole album is in the top 50 tracks... ![]() Bonnie's not bad, but she's pure pop, and a little... eh, I dunno. Still, cool idea. |

i joined.. i don't think i'll make much difference to it right now cause i've only been using it a few weeks (despite signing up last year) _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation. (thank you mogwai you are all nuts.) |

Think of the Panopticon...dangerous...dangerous... the Panohuh? why must you ruin my fun??!! i hate you! the panopticon, it was a prison design in the late 1800s. See the concept was to make the prison in an octagon shape, with all the prisoners on the walls in glass cells, and a guard tower in the middle. The prisoners couldn't see anyone else, nor could they see the guards, but the guards could see everything. The ideal situation is to maintain order in the prison by fear. If the prisoners can't see the guards, then they automatically assume they're being watched. You can actually remove the guards entirely, and maintain order. these agents you guys use operate on a similar level. They watch you, but you can't see them. They collect all your data and do what they will with it. Without knowing it you start to change your behavior in case the agent collects the data. You suddenly don't listen to an album you would because you don't want the agent to find out and reveal that information. rule with fear _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |
