I was just wondering what kind of books you read and if they influence your music and the lyrics. Also a big thanks for your music ! it often makes my day ! Merci beaucoup ! |

the chronicles of narnia - c.s. lewis.... quite a lot of influence i think. and some of their favourite books!

I love Tolkien, and the Harry Potter books... as for what i read mostly... I love old literature... particularly Lord of the Flies and The Catcher in the Rye... stuff that makes you think about humanity, rather than stuff just for fun... I like to read theology books, and books about Christianity, as well as... other religions... right now I'm reading the Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis (my first Lewis book  ) and i just finished the Tori Amos autobiography and "Elliott Smith and the Big Nothing"...

Boyd just mentioned on the journal that Colin from the Decemberists recommended some books for Sherri. margaret atwood -i buy books from second hand bookstores, never new. so whatever just interests me. you know what they say about not judging a book by its cover? sometimes, you can. and sometimes, the books that do interest me have covers that do as well. |
