I think I am revealing my age here but I think they should cover a song by The 77s or The Choir.

see. i think the whole point of a band, like eisley, covering another bands song would be to take something from another genre and bridge the gap.. fill the space..

i would like to hear eisley cover something like..
patsy cline - 'walking after midnight'
blood sweat and tears - 'spinning wheel'
or the who - 'baba o'riley'

ok.. so my vision will never come true...
i wouldn't mind hearing a good remake of:

sugar ray - someday
mustard plug - you

.. is it possible for me to get kicked out of a forum simply for having bad ideas?

actually, i think patsy cline is a fantastic idea.

oh yeah, and my suggestion...

comfortably numb, by pink floyd of course.

that fred-durst-ruining-songs comment reminded me of that. didn't he and johnny rzeznik mutilate wish you were here during that 9/11 tv memorial?

i might be wrong.

Yes,they did broadcast it here, live too I think.

Neil young doing imagine was what i would call a good cover that day.

Why did a Canadian(celine dion) do God bless america? surely it would of made more sense to have an american sing that

there was a lot wrong with that tv special. i think it was all well-intentioned, but enrique iglesias's hero was a little too contrived (and i usually like his stuff ok.. wait i didn't say that).

pink floyd covers would fit eisley well.. time, the show must go on, hey you, comfortably numb (as ali said).. all would make excellent covers.

but thinking of them covering pink floyd makes me think of them covering led zeppelin.. kashmir. fool in the rain.

you know.. i just realized that i would really like to hear a band members opinion on songs that they would like to cover.

it's pronounced "chasdew"

Maynard(sp?) from Tool covered Diary of a Madman by Ozzy/Black Sabbath but sung it to the music and chorus of Lovesong by The Cure. It would be very cool to hear Eisley do it... its kind of out of their character but not too far out and I think they could put a cool Eisley twist on it.

btw, I second a cover of Hey You by Pink Floyd as well

Cover the following...
Arrow Zombies by the Cranberries, Wild Horses by the Sundays, Venus as a Boy by Bjork, Sugar by Cibo Mato, Here and Now by Letters to Cleo...I think that's all. Laughing
